About Me

I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember and majored in Fine Art in college.  I’ve worked in many media such as watercolor, oil, pastel, graphite and various forms of printmaking and find inspiration from many different sources.  My travels have resulted in subject matter such as scenic vistas, street scenes and South American penguin colonies.  An artful display of baked goods or a colorful pottery arrangement can also be an inspiration.

Over the years I have taken classes at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, the National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, among others.  I’ve also participated in numerous workshops.  Recently I have taken painting and printmaking classes given by Jessica Lenard at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.

I am an elected, full member of the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, Inc., a signature member of the Garden State Watercolor Society and of the North East Watercolor Society, an exhibiting member of the Essex Water Color Club, and a member of the Millburn/Short Hills Art Center and the Livingston Arts Association.  I have shown my work at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, the Morris County Library, the Madison and Chatham Libraries, Overlook Hospital in Summit, the Garden Gallery in Summit, JCC Galleries in West Orange and Whippany, the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, the Community Theatre in Morristown, the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, Art@1275 Gallery, the National Arts Club in New York City, the Trenton City Museum and the Ridgewood Art Institute.  I have won many awards for my work.
